Registration Instructions
Please follow these steps to complete your registration:
Step 1: Complete Your Purchase
Select your attendance type by clicking at one of the following options:
IN-PERSON Attendance Fee for Student (early bird)
IN-PERSON Attendance Fee for Non-Student (early bird)
VIRTUAL Attendance Fee (early bird)
The category of Students includes: Bachelor, Master, PhD students as well as Post Doc Fellows.
Purchase your registration.
Ensure the purchase is made in the participant's name.
Purchase only one registration per participant.
Step 2: Submit Your Registration Form
After completing your purchase, you will receive an Order ID via email.
Click here to access the TransitData 2026 registration form.
Enter your Order ID in the designated field.
Complete all required information to validate your registration.
Important Notice for Student Registrants (Bachelor, Master, PhD students as well as Post Doc Fellows)
You must upload a valid document proving your current affiliation with an educational institution (e.g., student ID, enrollment letter, or official transcript).
Registration requests without valid student verification will be denied.
Public Transit Agency Special Discount:
The first 4 registrations from the same company, a fifth can register for free (i.e. equivalent of 20% discount)
The first 6 registrations from the same company, two more can register for free (i.e. 25% discount)
To register participants with free access, please email tal@utoronto.ca with the paying group information. A separate link for the participants with a discount will then be sent.

All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
The approximate exchange rate is CAD 1.00 = US$ 0.73
Notes:
Speakers must be fully registered based on the above fee schedule in order to be included in the Program.
· A valid student ID is required for the In-Person Student Registration category. This requirement applies to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students as well as Post Doc Fellows. Registrants for the “Student in Person” category must register using an email address from an academic domain, and will need to upload a copy of their Student ID, valid as of January 1, 2026.
· There is no Student Fee category for Virtual participation. All efforts have been made to keep this as inexpensive as possible.
· The Registration Form will be a Web Form. If you have trouble accessing or completing the form, please contact us at tal@utoronto.ca to obtain a PDF version of the form by email.
· Please note that Canada requires visas from citizens of many countries. Please ensure that all IRCC requirements are met https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application.html (Processing times: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html)
· Refund Policy:
o Up to May 1st, 2026, the registration fee will be refunded, minus an administrative fee of CAD 100
o From May 1st to June 8th, the registration fee will be refunded, minus an administrative fee of CAD 250.
o After June 8, 2026, no refunds are available.
o A replacement can always be nominated if you cannot attend.
o In-Person Registrants who are not able to attend in person can transfer their registration to the “Virtual” category for the same fee.
