Please note that several games of the FIFA World Cup are being held in Toronto during this period, which will affect accommodation in the city. If attending in-person, please reserve your accommodations early.

Block of Dormitory Rooms Available

For those interested, we have secured a block of 150 dormitory rooms at Victoria Margaret Addison Hall and Burwash Hall, which are very close to the Venue site. The following video clips provide a walk-through of the dormitories:

The rates are as follows (all prices in Canadian dollars):

Early Bird Rates (include breakfast)

  • Single room: $ 200.00 per night + HST (tax)

  • Double room: $ 220.00 per night + HST (tax)

  • The Early Bird rate must be booked before January 31st, 2026

  • The Early Bird Rate is non-refundable

Standard Rates (include breakfast)

  • $ 250.00 per single room/ per night + HST (tax)

  • $ 280.00 per double room/per night + HST (tax)

  • The cancellation policy for the Standard Rate requires notice at least one month prior to the arrival date.

  • Please complete and submit The Accommodation Form at the above link (Please ignore the note at the top of the Accommodation Form stating “the Guest House will be closed from April 30 until September 2”)

  • Guests should state on the “Where did you hear about us” line the Conference they are associated with so that Victoria University is aware of where to assign their reservation and room: TransitData 2026

  • The credit card authorization form will be sent together with the booking confirmation, which the guest will need to complete and return to us.

  • The total cost of their stay must be paid either at or before check-in, including a Damage Deposit Amount of $250.00 per Room per Guest

  • Guests who use a credit card which is not their own must make this known on their reservation request form while placing their reservation request. The credit card holder will be required to complete a credit card authorization form in order for the reservation request to be completed and in order for the credit card to be accepted as a form of payment.

  • The Block of rooms has been reserved for June 21 to 26, 2026

  • Attendees can book for a shorter duration and will only be charged for the nights they stay, without any penalty.

  • They can also extend their stay beyond the block for the same rate

  • Once the Block of 150 rooms is filled, attendees are on their own to find accommodation.

Other Notes:

  • Check-in/Check-out Process:

    • Check in/out location: Margaret Addison Hall - 140 Charles St. West. Toronto

    • Check-in Time: Starting from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival

    • Check-out Time: On or before 11:00 AM on the day of departure

  • Guests will arrive in clean and prepared rooms that include linens, pillows, bath & hand towels. Guests will need to supply their own personal hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, etc.

  • Daily housekeeping services will be provided.

  • These are dorm rooms with shared bathrooms.

  • Guests will be given a WIFI login and password.

  • Smoking is not permitted on campus
